There are times in all of our lives that we may experience what feels like crushing blows, one after the other. During these times, just as you are about to give up, strength and courage springs up mightily from within. The tears that was flowing down your cheeks ceases. You begin to feel joy again, and thoughts of hope return. The realization suddenly jolts you and you realize, that someone has been standing in the gap and praying persistently and consistently for you.
Yes God Himself has assigned intercessors to pray for you day and night. Standing in the gap being instrumental in your many break throughs, healing and deliverances. It is so reassuring that Jesus Christ Himself is making intercessions for you. He is standing in the gap for all of us, for He is our high priest. I encourage you today to get up, take that step of faith kneel sit, or stand right where you are right now and pray. For Jesus Christ is standing in the gap for you!
