This is better than any scifi novel I've ever read before. It should be
published and made mandatory reading in public schools! It almost seems
like it is not fiction, so detailed is the vision.

I must express enormous admiration for the sheer volume of this work,
its inventiveness and its scope. You also created a very impressive
cast of characters. Though it could be considered Tika's story in that
she was the unique central character the others around her became very
special and Tira and Tika joined the wider world of the Tiger people.  
I loved the concept of "The Green Band" as well as the rationalist
world in which they lived. Their opportunities were exciting and the
way they seized them made for a great narrative.  The knife fights, the
relationships, the intellectual pursuits and the harmony in which they
lived in the natural world made the story of the Green Band of the
Tiger People a wonderful read.  I do look forward to more.  Thanks so
much for writing.

I found it hard to pry myself away from this story once I'd discovered
it and started reading it. I'm a keen reader of Fantasy/SciFi and I
found it right up there as far as plot and personal appeal went. There
was a lot of detail but the pace of events needed that background to be
there to understand the bigger picture. Mark was a very engaging
central character and his other key, Talia, was special. It really was
a pleasure to read Mark and Talia's story.  I thought the story's title
was particularly apt with the curse taking centre stage to the events
that it precipitated.  Thanks so much for writing.

THIS WAS REALLY ENTERTAINING!!  Well thought out ideas of justice.  
Great intricated plot, some interesting characters.  The Sylvan prince
in the final chapter is very intriguing.  A world where everyone is
"nice" is rather boring, so his "Game" is a great way to introduce more
conflict. The alien gods and demons are an exciting idea.  I REALLY
LOOK FORWARD TO BOOK TWO!!!  THANKS GREATLY FOR SHARING THIS EPIC

 Hi. I have spent a lot of time the last weeks reading this great
story!  You have created a good basis-story and added a lot of nice
details and interresting persons. And some very good and unexpected
twists :-)  All in all "Blessings of a curse" is probably the best
story I have ever read on this site. And better than a lot of books
I've bought!!!  I love long stories, so that is just an extra bonus.  
And I am defienetly looking forward to reading People of the Tiger. And
after that I will be waiting for the next part!

amount of time I sank into your wonderful tale.  I especially
appreciated the time you had put into the mechanics of magic.  I also

I enjoyed this story quite a bit, especially your detailed knife fight
scenes, which seemed to demonstrate higly realistic attacks, defenses
and resulting wounds.  The mystery of mission specialist Jeffrey's DNA
is also very intriguing.  BUT, why would John King turn out
unstable, but his offspring Tika be both mentally more stable and
physically so small? ( I look forward to find out in Book 2!!!)  
Overall, this is a great tale, fun, humorous, inventive, exciting and
highly creative, especially on the cosmology, engineering and martial
arts topics (and of course, the whole ecological rationalist phisophy
of life topic is simply brilliant).  THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS EPIC
WORK!!!
