China Tower

"China Tower" is a literary tower. The title is used to be called "Chinese Incarnation". But I found I don't want to take advantage of Christians, so I entitled it a different name, "China Tower", exactly. It is an English poetry collection by the poet Sha Yan, me. My true name is Xiao-Cong Hu, about twenty years ago I came from China to North America. I worked for a while as an engineer in both Canada and California, then I came back to Montreal, Canada and I stayed here. In 2004 I decided to proceed my career scope towards writing in both Chinese and English, and I succeeded in both. Concurrently I have three English titles published and I hope I will have my Chinese poetry collection published in the future. In North America, publishing in Chinese language is hack lots of pain, either money and fame needed to be considered for publishing a poetry book. Rather, publishing in English is much much easier, you can always find a publisher with low costs or directly publish yourself for free. And it is not easy for writers either they find a vanity press or not, because in this Internet age, people can find lots of materials to read online. So I did some marketing online to sell my books since I can not find bookstores to buy bulk orders for my titles. Marketing is extremely hard, especially for this kind of books. Chinese call it Yang Chun Bai Xue, it means the sun, the spring, the white snow kind of books, entails classical literature in English. So I hang on and decided to include titles like "China Tower" to use my Chinese influences. As you may already know, Chinese poetry is the best in the world, and "China Tower" entails such and described in English. It is not traslation but poetry in English already with CHinese characteristic to attract readers' attention. I posted some of my works online, and I continiously do so. Wishfully I can find readers interested in my works and decide to take one home with them. I do marketing online, and all of my three books, you can not find them in your local bookstore, sorry for the inconvenience, but I have to do this. Please enjoy my works.
