I SAY A PRAYER FOR ME Launches Trade Paperback with Bonus Reading Group Guide

Washington, DC, Tuesday, September 23, 2003 – When fans and new readers pick up the paperback edition of critically acclaimed, I SAY A PRAYER FOR ME: One Woman’s Life of Faith and Triumph by Stanice Anderson, they will get a pleasant surprise. Exclusive to the trade paperback edition (Walk Worthy Press/Warner Books; $13.95), due in stores October 1st, is the special Reading Group Guide prepared by the publisher.

The Reading Group Guide is a series of questions that include scripture references from the Bible for each of the over 40 true life-stories enabling the reader to relate instances in the book to their own lives, search for faith and unique paths. “This tool allows me to connect with my readers in new ways, and my hope is that it sparks dialogue with other readers and most importantly, with God,” says Anderson.


A motivational speaker, Anderson plans to tour with the release of the paperback implementing new promotional efforts such as reading group ministries, live online chats, I SAY A PRAYER FOR ME Mini-Retreats and workshops. The promotional tour, which followed the release of the hardback, took Anderson all over the United States and abroad.

“This book has touched people’s lives in ways I could never have imagined. My official promo tour was only a few cities on the East Coast but as people reached out and wanted me to travel to their city, town or country to share my testimony, I did,” says Anderson.
