As we celebrate Valentine's Day, let us consider the ultimate gift. Does it come in a carefully wrapped gift box or in a crystal vase? Or, does it come in loving actions? It is a clear choice that love lives in the action of giving of ourselves which cannot be replaced with any amount of material objects.
We may dedicate our actions to the Creator, our fellow man, or ourselves. As a multiple choice question: which recipient do you think is the most important? The answer is actually, "all of the above"! When we come to know God through His Word and His perfect character, we embrace Him as the consumate lover who values all of His creation very greatly! Out of such a model stems the desire to sacrifice for our fellow man as did Jesus.
A special component of love manifests in valuing our God-given body temple to take the best care of it we can.

And that is the gift of love to God, our fellow man, and ourselves.
