... modern charting programs have evolved
to give us thousands of options to
evaluate the PRICE axis on our charts,
but there's relatively few options to
analyze the TIME axis on our charts.
Here we see why TIME axis analysis
offers a new dimension to techies, who
wish to supercharge their market charts.
Astrotools offer us superior TIME axis
analysis and therefore better trade
entries and exits in our trading .....

Hi folks,
ALL indicators that require PRICE as
an input MUST be lagging indicators,
since we need the price before we
can build them .....
TIME is independent of price and is
always constant, giving us an edge
over price analysis .....
For daytraders..... time analysis can
be as simple as, timing the first
swing of the day and looking for
support and resistance, in the same
time frame or multiples of same.
-----
Short-term may trade between the natural
squares in any market (ie STO closed close
to 625 = 25 squared) and align this event
with a known fixed cycle for that market.
Maybe 29 calendar days for example .....
..... astrotraders may use Moon, Venus, Mercury
moves for confirmation at natural squares,
in short trading time-frames.
-----
Longer-term traders may use seasonal swings
to alert them to possible trade entries and
exits ... FGL is a good example, check back
on the charts for a major turn on an equinox
or solstice.
--------
Investors may look at even longer time frames,
with 1-10-100 year cycles being important
indicators ..... HDR is a good example here
of both a seasonal trade and an anniversary
swing ..... check the low 24092001 = 38.5 cents
(equinox fell on the weekend) and exactly
ONE year later on 20092002 = 92 cents = 2002 high
(again, equinox fell on the weekend).
-----
Back to MAs ... if we use them as confirmation
of other indicators, then they must also fit
our expected trading time frame.
For example, if we are comfortable holding
a stock for a few months, before taking profits,
then using a 3-day MA will only cause you too
much stress ... so, maybe it is better to use
longer MAs ... 29,59 and 89 work well in many
markets and they can also serve as a marker for
a stop loss level ... here is where we MUST
pull-the-trigger to cut our losses !~!.
Fund managers and other long term investors will
often use long MAs, like 200 weeks, then its
construction matters little ..... lol
-----
Best of all, time cycles and associated
support and resistance channels can be
projected into the future, giving us
further opportunities for more advanced
analysis.
have a great weekend all
yogi
