THE VOICE-TO-GUITAR CONVERTER

This one seems so obvious that I'm pretty sure somebody has already invented it:
This is a set of speakers and a microphone with a computer program in the middle that converts the sound you make with your mouth into a guitar note [or a note from a flute, or trumpet, or piano, etc.].
The program could be sensitive not only to pitch, but also inflection, attack, volume, etc.
Furthermore, you, as the singer, could manipulate the controls as you sing the notes, to create special effects.
