WHEN DID CHRISTIANS ABANDON JESUS?
For centuries the practices of Christians, both as individuals and as organized churches, have demonstrated no knowledge of the teachings of Jesus. To the contrary, they more closely follow the teachings of the Prophet, Mohammad.
Jesus taught individual personal dependence upon the inner voice of God, with disregard of formal religious hierarchies. Christians gagged and bound God in their Bible, and since that time the truth taught by Jesus has been ignored.
In the top-down control of organized religion, the truth is hidden from the people. The establishment of the church was the first step away from Jesus.
Abandoning his teachings is the abandonment of Jesus himself!
The time has come to rid ourselves of the influence of the past – to let go of the old ideas that keep us at war.
Join me in this effort. Make and keep this promise to yourself:
I commit myself to live in harmony with everyone;
To harm no one physically, emotionally, financially;
To encourage others to do likewise; and
To defend against all threats
To life, liberty and the pursuit of joy.
