A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE DISASTER.

This is a bit strange even for me. I still cannot figure it out?
I was working Transportation in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
There was not much to do so I rode along with Dan to pick up some folks at the airport. As I walked about helping him find them a girl jumped on me and said, “GEORGE!”
She started hugging and kissing me and saying how she missed me.
Inside the van Dan asked everyone where they were going.
She said, “I want to go with George! George is Great! Wherever George is going that’s where I want to go! Where you going George?”
I said, “Crazy, but you can’t come cause your already there.”
I said, “I thought I might be seeing you.”
“Yeah, but you didn’t think I’d jump all over you, did ya?”
“No.”
When we dropped them off Dan said, “She really likes you!”
I told him that last year in Houston she was told to ride along with Jerry as a navigator. He liked her and asked her out, but she declined.
One day she couldn’t find Jerry so she rode along with me. Jerry thought I stole her from him and quit talking to me.
I saw him again in California for the fires. He still wasn’t talking to me.
I said, “Thanks a lot Jerry! You stuck me with that crazy girl and I couldn’t get rid of her.”
When he realized I wasn’t attracted to her he started talking to me again.
Here’s the strange part…
The very next day after seeing her at the airport…
I was standing in front of headquarters around noon. She came walking from lunch at Harris Teeters. I wondered what she was doing there?
She said, “Boy, the people you see when you don’t have a gun.”
I was dazed and confused?
“Don’t you remember me from Houston?”
Yes, I remembered her. She was the girl I thought the other girl was. They look almost exactly alike.
I have no idea who the girl I thought she was is?

They say everyone has someone that looks exactly like them in the world, a doppelgänger. I've been accused of being somebody else because to black people all white people look alike. ;-)

Bye George! You have a strong chick magnet!
