As I “Remember The Alamo,” I also remember that wall did not work very well.

Trump shows great knowledge about Texas (he has come here several times while president). Probably gleaned from the TV show, Dallas.
The wall will not be concrete coast-to-coast, it didn't help the Alamo. Instead the wall will be tasteful, bomb and bulletproof steel driven far enough into the ground to puncture any tunnels. And then it will only be placed in "strategically dangerous," spots. Of course, they will grow as time goes along to cover coast-to-coast.
