What,when,where,whatever?
Professor Ambrose Penwose, Kiwi
My students at The University tend to sometimes personificate an unusual aire of intelligence not to be taken lightly or heavily but nevertheless without a grain of salt.
Take this weeks lectures on Space for instance. Although they all take up space, very few scholars make proper use of it except for when the time comes to leave it.
They do ask peculiar questions however, and the nature of them leaves me wondering of their sincerity. Take this one for instance…
“If you are standing on the moon, during an eclipse, can you still see yourself?
I noticed a definite reference to “You” three times counting Yourself, and cannot help wondering if they are referring to Me?
The only other You, could be You, with whom they do not know, so I must assume they mean me.
They said I should forget about myself and answer the question, but how does one answer something so absurd? I suppose it would be rather dark.
Maybe the question is high pathetical?
Another question that seems to repeat itself unoccasionally is…
“Why is there a planet named Pluto, yet none named Goofy?
I presume that question is justified since Mickey Mouse did have two dogs.
“In Space, which direction is North?”
I was always taught that north is always north, but that is on Earth, and in Space there are no trees for moss to grow on?
I do not want to think of such things today. If I think of them I’ll go crazy. I’ll think of them tomorrow.
