Stimulus
I just checked for my check. It’s not there?
They were supposed to have been sent to everybody who is somebody.
Unfortunately they are not going to anybody, or nobody. Actually if they sent them to nobody, what would be the sense of sending them?

I really needed to find out what stimulus means. Dictionary.com says;

“In general, a stimulus is something that provokes or causes an action or response, as in…Failing that test was the stimulus I needed to start studying harder.

What are they talking about? I didn’t fail a test? I’m the Professor!

“The plural of stimulus is stimuli. Its verb form is stimulate, which typically means to spur into action or to invigorate.”

I read on and horrorgraphically found this…
“In economics, a stimulus is an injection of money into an economy by a government that’s intended to spur (stimulate) economic growth.

Example: Congress has passed an unprecedented stimulus package in response to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in the hopes of stimulating the economy at a time when so many people have lost income due to being out of work.”

I DON”T BELIEVE IT! HOW DID THEY KNOW THAT?
Dictionary.com was written Years Ago, by an old monk on a mountain. How did he know about the example?

I think there are things that go on that we know nothing about?

What kind of a word is that? Sounds like something to do with British currency?
Maybe in England their stimulus is being pumped up with quidnuncs?

Anyway, I hope I receive my check before I pass the point of stimulation. I hate to waist money!
