Oh the humility

I JUST GOT MY NEW MAILBOX AND IT IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.

I cannot say without appearing obvious that I never had intentions of having my face plastered on a cardboard cutout, sitting in the rain, at a football game, yet when the possibility arose, there I was taking a shot in the dark and sending an 8x10 glossy of my face to the NFL, Collegiate, and High School Cardboard Cutout Forums.

What to my dismay was the first thing I saw when rooting through my held mail, which was held no longer, but delivered in a gumband bundle, within my new box.

A letter from The Cutout People. I had actually gotten through!
What a bloody delight…or at least it was until I opened it.

They Rejected Me! They said that no one would believe a face like mine. I can neither confirm nor deny that that was a good thing?

All that is important is that I was rejected…again.
I feel so forsaken. As well I should because I am.

They did not even have the decency to inform me by email, so that I would know swiftly, but sent a snail mail noclass message that kept my hopes alive until they were shattered, which took even longer than normal because of the mailbox theft.
In hindsight, which is always 20/20, yet too late to do anything, I’m thinking I probably should not have included return postage.

I will not be defeated!

I shall make my own Wooden cutout, which is much better than cardboard, and watch the games in front of the tele with “Woody”
beside me all the way through The Super Bowl!

I’ll show the bastards! How Bloody Marvelous!

Penwose Out,
