Ladies and Gentlemen, this is an intelligence test: If you never had the experience in battle, who you gonna call:
Halliburton?
This article is coming from the Cynth'ya y'all never had the pleasure of knowing. And I regret that she had to come up from the murky debts of political quagmire to say if those who read this are uncomfortable with controversy, don't get your Hanes in a bunch: just pour yourself a glass of tap water and write a poem with the background theme "Daisies Won't Tell".
Like crap, controversy happens. Even ostriches who stick their heads "in the sand" cover up the presence of their own self-produced crap.
I for one don't believe that anybody who has the best interest of the FUTURE of this nation on the globe can't help but wonder why in the galaxy we are having all of these natural phenomina occurring. First we see Venus, and I ain't talkin' De Milo stripped naked from the belly button up. But our soldiers are coming home with missing limbs.
Put that in the Louvre? I don't think so and please don't correct me if I spelled it wrong. Dan Quayle still can't spell "Potato."
Well, since I have a busy a.m. planned and another speaking engagement in Louisville, there are, for me at least, better things to do like get my soul ready for Jesus' return (atheists need not contest this, it's still a free nation, what's left of our right to privacy).
Remember the old agage, "Nothing Occurs in a Vacuum"? Some please tell the political spoiled brats of the media that this is still true in nature and in politics. What goes around still comes around, and the big dog will always bite if you wake it while it's licking its hind end or dreaming of beef bones.
And I think that, speaking as an independent Christ follower, God is saying "Look here fools, don't start none, won't be none."
All of these signs, and people STILL don't believe! God had to send three more hurricanes. On 9.29 He sends the Asteroid whose direction God can change anytime He pleases, just like Hurricane Jeanne:
Anybody remember Mount St. Helens? She's waking up again:
http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/science/09/29/mount.st.helens/index.html
"Asteroid Toutatis Makes Closest Pass in 651 Years"
http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/story.jsp?floc=FF-RTO-PLS&idq=/ff/story/0002/20040927/1512475209.htm&photoid=20040927WAS02D&maxphotos=2&phototerm=asteroid
Then, God sent another earthquake that no one really thinks about as major news that registered 6.0 between San Francisco and L.A. and one man jokes about it who was affected: http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/09/28/california.quake.ap/index.html
And to top it all off, there will be a sterilized debate on Thursday night Sept. 30, 2004 that is a mockery of the concept of free speech and the First Amendment that allowed us to tell King George to kiss off long ago, but because it seems one particular political regime wants to protect it's so-called commander who obviously can't even handle himself with an unarmed opponent on stage unless he has everything HIS way, they buy off the media and make Dan Rather quake in his anchor chair. And Dan, if you're reading this, check your zipper to make sure it hasn't moved to your left side near your vestigial fallopian tube.
Why should a man afraid to look his challenger in the eye be trusted with a nation when he's too timid to deal with unscripted questions when he has no idea how to handle a war that he could not predict would kill so many of our troops AFTER he declares so-called "victory?" Take all the turkey you want to Iraq on a surprise visit Thanksgiving Mr. President. Talk about not backing down and reinstate the draft June 2005, and make us think on this Thursday that your intentions are honorable while you hide behind Dick Halliburton Chaney's skirt of million dollar bills.
The ones who serve your scripted views with their lives deserve more than a playwright president trying to steal a scene, not to mention not giving the citizens of your brother's storm-raped state the decency of keeping your foot on the neck of those still waiting for insurance money that is going to build schools in Iraq and fund Iraqi businesses while small businesses in America go bankrupt on your lies.
There, I said it, and I ain't takin' it back! I love you, hate what I say, if I was dead or comatose it wouldn't matter anyway.
God bless America and the right to duke it out onstage without some mamby-pamby media censoring the stuff we deserve to hear. And God rest the souls of Republican Senator Everett M. Dirksen and Democratic Congresswoman Barbara Jordan who, in my opinion, didn't give a hoot about political loyalty, and who wrote the book on free debate.
Here's to a true Sistah and a dynamic Mistah who would rather speak freely than clam up.
