See if y'all can pick up a copy of the video at your local library. Then tell these children of ours they'll be digging potatoes for a wage of 2 bucks a week if they don't get their butts out and vote.
Just had to post this pronto after talking with one of my son's who "trusts
that nothing is going to change." A few years ago he wanted to start his own political party, right before we kicked him out of our house for acting like he cloned himself into life's existence, and all we do is pay the bill.
Don't get me wrong, he's an intelligent young man. But the problem, (like it was with all of us old heads with hindsight) is that he is YOUNG!
Since our first born malechild recently moved out of the house, post-divorce, I asked him about making certain that he heeded his father's advice on making sure he was registered to vote in his new precinct. What I heard singed my earhairs:
"Mom, it's not going to make any difference, people don't care about doing what's right. . . " Then he said he was using up all of his daytime cell phone minutes and said hastily "love-you-mom-gotta-go-bye-". . . hasty kha-likk
At least two out of the three kids seems to get it. But I have confidence in my kids, even though children for any parent test you to summon the patience of Job more often than we'd like to admit.

out how people could be certain their registration is
valid for next months local state and national
