Facts are facts, history is history. Once upon a time it would have been legal for a man to own a woman, for a family to own a slave (or two of three hundred), and for people to cut down trees indiscriminately.

A record is a record, a pattern is a pattern. But for those who believe in the Bible, and who study it for themselves, Apostle Peter could have been considered a loud, stubborn flip flopper.

"First you know the Lord. . . then you don't."

But the keys to the kingdom of the Christian church were placed in a flip flopper's hands. A flip flopper who admitted his mistake, AND CHANGED HIS THINKING.

That's all I've got to say for all fundamentalist conservatives who believe in God ordained presidents. (Oh, one more thing. . . Judas couldn't admit a mistake either and hung himself on his lies.)

Perfection does not exist, but improvement does. Look at the facts three years since the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom that started pre-emptively on half-truths October 7, 2001. Funny how we forget anniversaries like that one, and celebrate Election Day 2004 in Afghanistan on October 9 which is the homeland of Osama Bin Ladin, the REAL reason that we were attacked three years ago.

Afghan people deserve to vote, but they had better "duck" when they do.
