Praying for sanity in Washington...

As I'm sure by now you know a news reporter planted the Rumsfeld question regarding armor on military vehicles yesterday. Reason? The Bushmen made certain such a question would not be asked by any journalist by pre-screening such queeries. [Ooh, that wascally liberal media!] Speaking of oil - even though a bullet train measure had passed here in Florida a few years back - George Dubya's brother, Jeb, did everything in his power to have it defeated [due to high costs] and - sure enough - he did this past year because the bullet train was too expensive [not to mention that cars use oil, suh.] He even tried to disband the bullet train committee and leave it in the hands of the state's transportation department yesterday but no dice since the committee is now seeking FEDREAL funding. [Fat chance.] Speaking of his brother, George Dubya would still like to drill for oil in our own gulf but then that would without doubt end Jeb's reign here in our tourist-dependent state. Nice article, Ms. Reed, and before I forget - guess what? Just this morning, OPEC said it's back to cutting oil production again by a million barrels a day. [I can see all our oil barons already counting their blood money.]

I am with Jerry but I would think that after the questions put to Rumsfeld day before yesterday would settle ths issue of talking to the media. I know several high ranking military men that all they do is talk to the media. Maybe the leaders should all get into a boxing ring and duke it out.
