If the eyeballs reading this are the same eyeballs that get tired of waiting for hours for a ride from an airport, read on. . . .
Interviewer: Cynth'ya, if you don't mind sharing, share some of your best pick up tips with our Authors Den readers.
Cynth'ya: Well, I certainly not interested in gettin' picked up by the likes of you. . . I GOT a man! Couldn't been you but you couldn't quite measure up in the. . . .
Interviewer: Hold on. . . let's leave the past in the past. Would you allow me the honor of re-phrasing that question?
Cynth'ya: It's your article.
Interviewer: You travel, right?
Cynth'ya: Duh! As long as my grown kids can't find me. . . yes.
Interviewer: Well, aside from the fact that I too still live at home with my parents. . .
Cynth'ya: Failed to launch, did 'ya?
Interviewer: Long story. . . back to the question. . . . I know from other reliable sources. . . .
Cynth'ya: My mother?
Interviewer: No, your grown kids. . . . that you hate to wait.
Cynth'ya: Got that write, I mean right. . . always thinking of writing. . . and yes I hate to wait. I'm 39 and holding you know. Shoot my premenopausal ADHD young-heimers kicked in. . . you were sayin'?
Interviewer: You-hate-to-wait. . . ?
Cynth'ya: I'm really tired of waitin' on you to spit out the quesiton Action Jackson. . . just what is it you want to know? It's not like I'm the Dali Lama!
Interviewer: Travel. . . airports. . . etc.
Cynth'ya: Hey, now we're talkin'! I just do it myself. . . you know, like what lonely women do when a man won't deliver?
Interviewer: Who gave you my wife's cell number?
Cynth'ya: Nobody. . . we talk with each other on Authors Den. . . . and the question again was. . . .?
Interviewer: Travel.
Cynth'ya: Right. What about it?
Interviewer: Once you book your own flights, how do you manage to get paid for that?
Cynth'ya: I get my own wheels. Either set up a rental car--or if I'm in places where people can't drive, like Huntsville Alabama, I tend to just book a shuttle.
Interviewer: You mean a person can book it at work or even before they leave their house?
Cynth'ya: Doesn't everybody? Oh, I forgot. You dropped out of journalism school.
Interviewer: Can we keep this professional, please?
Cynth'ya: Okay. I'll try, even with an ex-boyfriend that let me go. You really wish you didn't let me go now don't you but. . . I digress. . . . It's like I tell anybody esle who asks. I, unlike you. . . am extremely busy. . . So if you wanna know how I get paid a nice rebate on my shuttles, just click the PRESENTATIONS link at the website below. Even journalism drop outs like you should be able to find the big mouse sitting on the Eiffel Tower at www.TheRANDLGROUP.com . The link in under the mouse's tail. Take a peek and a whiff. You might learn somthin'!
Interviewer: I got you there. Booked myself the shuttle to get to your place already.
Cynth'ya: Whoo! And the earth moved. . . okay okay, no more hatin'. What did you find out about the service?
Interviewer: Well, I found out three things
1. It books fast. 2. It books it easy, and. . . 3. I had enough money left over to actually buy a stale Walmart sandwich made fresh yesterday. Plus a big bag of old popcorn with too much sodium.
Cynth'ya: Handclap handclap. . . I'm so impressed. But seriously, even though you got left back, most of us writers got started by surviving on lint from a left over broken shoe string we found in the corner of our closets while we were looking for something to wear to our first booksigning. Glad you found THE R AND L GROUP link helpful to you.
END OF INTERVIEW.
Interviewer Closing Comments: So ladies and gents, whether Cynth'ya prefers a share ride van; a private shuttle; a bus or motor/coach or a lil' ol' limo/town car, she doesn't wait for a travel agent to botch up the plans or a cab driver who wants to make the wallet in her black leather purse scream for mercy. She's her OWN travel agent, sharing the secrets with you.
All she does is go to her own site, and just books it. . . then pays herself. You think she'll buy me a decent meal?
Cynth'ya: I heard that!
Interviewer: Never mind. . . .this is Homer Middleton. . . jilted ex-lover of Cynth'ya Lewis who married a lucky dude named Kenny Reed, signing off and ready to shuttle my butt outta Muncie, Indiana.
