A man of many talents, Michael Ray is an outstanding actor, comedian, talk show host, and corporate trainer. Michael knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry at an early age. While still in high school, he began working as a local DJ. He continued DJing while attending college, learning from one of the top DJ’s at WTLC in Indianapolis.
Michael moved to Atlanta and on to standup comedy in the late 80’s, traveling over the US, performing at clubs including; The Punchline, The Funny Bone, The Comedy Act Theatre, and The Comedy Zone to name a few. While honing his skills on stage, acting caught Michael's eye. He began performing in plays, and landing commercials for clients including BellSouth, Prudential Reality, and Honda Motors.
Young, talented, and motivated; Michael put his wit and creativity together and authored the board game "Journey to the Motherland" in 1994. He believes that there is a struggle to balance work and home life and that the hectic pace people lead today, often separates them from friends and family. With his board game, family and friends can get together and laugh, relax, and gain knowledge while spending that much needed time together. "Journey to the Motherland" has been featured in news articles appearing in; The Indianapolis News, Atlanta Business Chronicles, The Atlanta Tribune, Upscale Magazine, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Smiley Report, and many more.
With a professional engineering background, Michael became a corporate trainer. He has trained hundreds of corporate employees and has delivered hundreds of presentations to major corporations including Delta Airlines, Maul Air, Southern Company, Hoshizaki America, and many more. His excellence has led companies to request him repeatedly.
