Aren't the citizens who have constitutional rights or are they puppets of the master and commander in brief?

I've got a wedding shower to attend, but this time tomorrow, look for the rant of all rants about the ridiculous way that our government treats the people who represent us. . .and ALL before the May primary in the state of Indiana and other states as well.
