In this season of electoral egomania, it is good to know that there are some people running for office who put politics aside for a much nobler cause.

No one wants to live in a community with good old boy systems determining our safety. When people evaluate the evidence, when people use intellect and research when going to the polls in contrast to the frivolity of party politics, our communities will be in a better position to cover more areas left behind because  of nepotism and selfish pride. 

Hopefully before people go to the polls, they will drop to their knees in prayer to elect the person whom would be in the best qualified based on experience. To vote for a particular political party out of generational habit is as logical as purchasing an airline ticket while being totally clueless of the flight itinerary.

So on Election Day, those individuals who care not about our nation's future should not complain if the candidate they elect happens to be proven as unqualified and/or unprofessional when dealing with a crisis. Therefore, they have no right to point fingers in the eye of those they elected. God will be the ultimate judge. Hopefully this nation won't burn for the errors made by those who cannot admit their own error, and try to correct it for the good of all concerned.

Meanwhile, caring people will truly look at the facts, put aside party familiarity if need be, and vote for the woman or man who is intelligent, qualified, and unafraid to do make sound decisions regardless of partisan puppetry.
