YTB - Gotcha!
by Cynth'ya Lewis Reed

Do your research. . . What I learned from being skeptical: With a bachelors and a masters degree, and my corporate and not-so-corporate jobs, and all the temp services that treated me as if I was yesterday's news when they found out I was OVERQUALIFIED" and my 12 years of being laid off after I "made too much money" at $30,000 a year in 1995. . . if anybody out there believes in the old way of "go to school and get a good job". . .well, look in the mirror because the system just "gotcha!"

I love research.

Always did. Probably because probably while growing up the grown folk would always say to my inquisitive little face, "Mind yo' business child!"

That is probably the reason I went back to school in the late 80s with 3 babies and a husband who was always coaching to make an extra $50 bucks here and there after teaching little Rasputins in school 5 days a week. This housewife, now midlife grandmother hippie poet just loved to gather information.

I don't care what it is!. . . the more skeptical I am about it, the more I aim to find out the answer to that nickel and dime question we hear everytime something comes along that's just too blasted good to be true . . . "What's the catch? There's gotta be a catch." And with YTB Travel, I found that there truly is a hugh catch!

First off, whether it's YTB or anything else one investigates, Be sure that the information makes sense, and that the info makes sense in your particular circumstance. YTB didn't make any sense to me when I first saw it. But then I asked myself. . ."if it's too good to be true , what could be wrong with it?" And if something was wrong with it, would that make me believe it more? (When I started to sound like George Bush I slapped myself and tried to take a solid, long hard honest orgasmic-brain-aching look at this business that what I first thought was just another one of those pyramids.

Then I thought. . .hey, wasn't it a corporate pyramid where the fatcats make all the money and said they didn't need me anymore back in 1995 while I was on sick leave, popping anti-depressants and sleeping pills because the job that I loved refused to love me back? (Sequel to 5 other jobs I had. . . only without the pill popping).

Again my logic told me, when looking at anything. . . the news, new shoes, organizational dues, and old ex-boyfriends who just "happen" to be in town. . . just take your time and use what senses God gave you to make sense of ALL the information.

Think of it this way y'all: Now if anybody can work a job for 40 or more hours a week then surely they can take a little time to watch something that can change their life that’s a heck of a lot less time intensive than watching The Sopranos and The Closer. Hollywood ain’t sending you NO check. . .

Now, for the serious: This is where my CATCH RESEACH began:  www.TheHarvestIsPlenty.com and I clicked Step 3.

And I took in the whole thing. (20 minutes)

(For the stuffed shirt skeptics who don’t know what they think they know, here’s another view) Skeptical journalist that I am, a friend sent me yet another view to consider. . .probably for skeptics like me. It was, no kidding:  www.HowIFiredMyBoss.com . (Cashflow info is accurate/webpage has been updated. See www.ytb.com for a demo of the new page as of Aug. 18, 2007)

The only reason I looked at it was because if there was ANY way I could learn to fire a boss, I'm right up front with a tub full of buttered popcorn holding my bladder the whole time. But after seeing it I thought this: Even if somebody really did like your boss on an undiscovered alien universe, they should watch it anyway because your aliean boss may hate his or her job and take it out on everybody else. (Be sure to watch out for the spewing green slime.)

But hark! Tis it the sound of the ignorant bliss of my comfort zone bidding unfounded fears of past home business faux pas fond adieu? Parting is such sweet sorrow. . . .Yep, watched the whole thing (35 minutes). . guy had a dorky voice but I stomached it. . . loved that "HowIFiredMyBoss" title, ya know? Just the sound of it made so much sense I wanted to ZabaSearch all my old bosses and share my newfound discovery. . . just because.
Besides, what can those old ghost supervisors do to me now? Fire me? (Woooo, I'm scarrrrrred!)

Well, after watching both movies hoping I could still make it to the bathroom, two things happenend in my medula oblongata: I thought, Hey, I'll just wait and see how other people do."  Then common sense struck me 'tween the eyes again and God sent me a few reminders like:

Reed, you know what happened when the folks who heard Noah decided to wait. . . ."

Now let’s talk about reviewing a product. Not a product with an expiration date, or a taste or honey, or a gadget that might cut off your finger while attempting to julliene a small red potato into 1,500 slices. Not a product to put on your face, or stick in your mouth to make your knees stop squeaking, or a juice that you pretend to like that stinks like an ungodly hell. . . (Oh No-NEE Oh No-NEE). . .but just the opposite.

This is travel. Little 2 year olds will use it. Shrunken102 year olds will use it. Both the living and the dead (shipped in coffins) use it. . . not a pretty explanation but hey it's the gospel truth!

(At this point, if you're a movie watcher with a little left over popcorn stuck in between your back molars. . . those movies already got you hip like they got me hip to the market shift so ‘nuff said ‘bout that! If Magic Johnson's got money in it, and Trump, and Kiyosaki says the travel business is a no brainer. . .and I'm a baby boomer too that doesn't want to work or look for work for the rest of her life. . .as long as the hotel isn't a nudist colony, sugah I'm gonna TRAVEL! May as well get paid. . . .but I was still  looking for the big 'ol catch. . .)

Then after about a zillion words worth of 20-30 minute conference calls--I figured it out. . . for those who want to be humored:  The Product is simply this:  ALL the beautiful resorts in the world you thought you’d never be able to afford to stay in. ALL of the car rental companies, cruise lines, hotels, vacation resort, airlines who want to date you with luxury to make you happy, just because you’re a referring travel agent with YTB Travel.

And what you catch ain't pain, it's genuine friendship. It's extra goodies: It's 2 (clap) 2 (clap) 2 websites in 1. One website is your virtual secretary; that doesn’t have a bad hair day; it doesn’t take extra time during lunch, never ever EVER calls in sick or gossips about people behind their backs.

You also have an email list builder that people put in themselves if you hate to type. And if you like typing, you don’t have to be that good at it. Just put in the first and last name and email. It’s secure. Homeland Security can’t even snoop.

And 4 times a month, YTB does the marketing for you and you never have to talk to a soul.  When your contacts see something they like, they click on it, and that little click takes your prospective travel client StrrrrrrrrrrRAIGHT into your booking engine. If they book travel, you get a nice little email from YTB that is better than that “You’ve Got Mail” voice. Baby, YOU’VE GOT MONEY!”  Now ain’t that nice y’all????

Your $12.50 cents a week overhead (or $49.95 a month) gee that's cheaper than a month of bad cable tv. Well, that takes care of all your free website and group phone training, your support, you get SUBSTANTIAL TAX BENEFITS not to mention earning 60% on everything that is booked on your website.

.

People don’t have to change their choices or their booking habits. If they love Hertz, they can book Hertz. If they like Holiday Inn, they can book Holiday Inn. If you got frequent flyer miles, you can use them, and all your pricing is up front. But that’s not all. . .

The OPTIONAL Marketing Compensation Plan is copyrighted. No one can copy it.

If you  watched either of the movies, you’ll notice that there are two teams on the Team Building/Marketing side that promotes travel sites to other people.

They are the (1) First Team & (2) The PowerTeam. Easier than that big red Staples button that does absolutely nothing but look cute on your desk and when the little frog voice goes out, you still gotta spend non-tax deductible money on a non-tax deductible product that don’t do a diddly’s worth a good, am I right about it y’all?

The fact is simply that people are entering this YTB business every day just because it just makes sense. We are seeing exactly what we were told was gonna happen. So wait if you want. . . but smart folks never wait for a good thing. No annual renewals and no franchise fee.

Webhosting and licensing fees, and your virtual office. $49.95 which can be reimbursed to you every single month. It’s reimbursed to us because we listened to the people who know YTB the best: Team Vision www.goteamvision.com Most people get started because they like just what they heard, and we are at the point where we are paid just like the highest paid people in the company.

So watch your mouth, this ain’t no stinkin’ pyramid. We are compensated with a protected plan by a copy written policy that has been check out by the Securities Exchange Commission (www.sec.gov)  So while people are out there moaning and groaning, a few of us, maybe 5 percent of the American populus will say they are sick and tired of all the nonsense, get up off their assumptions and get paid for what most people, especially women who are making a BUNCH of money with YTB regardless of their backgrounds. . .for doing what most women do best. . . .RUN OUR MOUTHS.

So girls, if the men keep quiet, we really will be able to rule the world! Plus we can order our own flowers from our website, get 60% of the commission; we can plan our own weddings, and get 60% of the commission, and send the men away to golf while they leave us with some peace and quiet, and get 60% of the commission of something we are all going to do anyway. . . Stuff that nobody forces us to do. Nobody’s gonna smack you up side the head for wanting to take a vacation. . .oh, excuse me, a PAYCATION.

But just know this; There are 2 sides to the business. The Travel Side (for people who don’t like to talk but just have fun)  and the Team Building Side (for people who love to teach others how to keep more of the money that their bosses won’t pay them because they downsize the life out of this country and then say “hasta laVEEstah suckers!”

We don’t sell this business, we simply tell this business to other people. We introduce it, and they join in. Your first 6 people are going to be in what is called your First Team. Three of them personally have to be sponsored yourself. If you bring in AB and C. You get $150.00 (50 each). YTB pays every week. Simply help those 3 people bring in 1 person each, that’s six people overall and your first team is complete.

But HERE’s THE FREAKIN’ CATCH!!! YTB, a company that says it’s full of integrity, says that says when you have 6 personally sponsored, no time limit, no pressure--when you personally sponsor 6 the company reimburses you the $49.95 every single month. So gee, guess there just ain’t no catch.

So to all the people who thought they’d never see Kansas anymore, don’t wait to see what everyone else is doing when it comes to success in this business or in any business. The lazy never make any money. But with this, even if people are just a tad bit lazy, they’ll be able to put gas into their gas tanks, and write that mileage off.

And for every second you were reading this, at least $13.3 million a second was made booking travel. . . that’s a little over one billion a minute.

Hey, what’s in your wallet? At least two out of three of our college grad kids have  www.takeapaycation.info in theirs.

What I learned from being skeptical: With a bachelors and a masters degree, and my corporate and not-so-corporate jobs, and all the temp services that treated me as if I was yesterday's news when they found out I was "OVERQUALIFIED"  and my 12 years of being laid off after I "made too much money" at $30,000 a year in 1995. . . if anybody out there believes in the old way of "go to school and get a good job". . .well, look in the mirror because the system just "gotcha!"

Loved what I read, I will watch the videos later today when I've got some time to myself and can focus in! Sounds like a wonderful business adventure, I knew there was something about you that was familiar...me! Sounds like we've both experienced our fair share of going no where work at home schemes, and ordered a bunch of goofy gadgets from television that DIDN'T WORK!!! Back to the work at home, I have made a little money working from home in my spare time in the past. When my kids were young and at home, but I had to work my tail off to make it! Assembling hairbows other objects, selling by phone, data entry, and the all time biggie, home parties and selling door to door! YUCK!! Even though I am working fulltime teaching, with economy on the rise, it seems each year when we get a raise something comes along and consumes it. For instance when gas reached the all time high of 3.18 a gal. there went the raise right out the exhaust pipe! Why not make a little extra or better yet alot of extra money to enjoy the finer things in life! So girl, you've got my interest! I will watch the videos and get back with you soon! By the way, I love to read your work, your voice comes through in such a comfortable way...I feel as if we are sitting in the shade on the front porch having a cup of coffee and chatting...you've got a wonderful and unique style!
Blessings,
Joyce B.
