Mobile Museum goes round The cities and across countries to meet people and collect stories and artfacts. Sometimes we write about people with sympathetic feelings about human environments.

In the corridors of Gamla Stan in Stockholm stands a Swedish female volunteer who collects money for Somali children in their refugee camps. Mobile Museum applauds and appreciates the spirit of humanity this woman is demonstrating to Somalis and and condemns those who block aid to go through. These days the distance between the aid and the beneficiary is too long because of bureaucracy on one hand and because of wars that deny people to get access to aid on the other. We need a change which should come from all Somalis and international institutions. On our part as Somalis in Sweden, we have created Småland For Somalia here in Växjö to facilitate and improve aid delivery mechanisms and to build bridges of understanding between the Somalis and the Swedes in Småland.
