And I say unto you, Ask and it shall be given you: seek, and ye shall find: knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

For everyone that asketh receiveth: and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Verse 67

And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; .... for he hath visited .... and redeemed his people.

And hath raised up an .... horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

horn - strenght; honor; as a type of victory

salvation - Romans 10, John 3:16

As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: (Genesis; John 1 - you may want to read these scriptures in your spare time)

Promise - "L"

The Lord's LOVE and Care for His Children

That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us:

Verse 72

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

That he would grant unto us, .... that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear.

To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet in the way of peace.

And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in desserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.
