Jesus return is no secret. Nor did He intend to surprise His followers. He gave us the exact date of His return. The problem is, the Church has misinterpreted His words in Matthew 24.
Matthew 24 does not say we cannot know when Jesus is returning. It states no one knows the day nor the hour of heaven and earths destruction.
Heaven and earth shall pass away...but of THAT day and THAT hour knows no man...
This occurs when the Father shows His face in Revelation 20:11. This is the day no one can know. Jesus return however is knowable.
Jesus was quoting from Isaiah 13 in His Matthew 24 discourse on end times. He expected us to figure it out. He left us only one sign to look for. He called it the sign of the Son of Man in Matthew 24.
This sign must occur before Jesus returns. It is the one and only sign the Church was told to watch for just before Jesus would return.
