This is a letter from a young man who,s father was involved in the same covert operations as yours truly. I do have a copy of the photo mentioned and i will post it to my website.

Dear Mr Bruce.      The reason i am contacting you is, i believe my father was invovled in the events that you detail in your book. He was in the SAS during the time you were and took part in the fighting in Aden, Mirbat ( another war that the British Government tried to keep secret) and in Ireland. He told me stories which tie in accuratly with what you wrote about.. Unfortunately he died 10 years ago and took a lot of his memories with him, i would be interested to know if you were aquainted or even  if you remember him, as i have tried in vain to find anyone who served with him in theSAS. There is a picture of him in the Tony Geraghty book "who dares wins" with the caption "what every well dressed SAS soldier carries to meet a visiting VIP in Aden", he is on the right of the picture. He was in the Scots Guards before (during) his time in the SAS. I know he was asked to rejoin later, but he refused as he had a wife and child by then. Reading your book was an emotional experience for me as there were a lot of similarities in your early lives and i realise now, the horror my Father lived with for most of his life.
