Nowadays we witness that the eastern thought and the western way of thinking are not completely differently directed and even contrary to Rudyard Kipling saying that "the East is the East but the West is the West and they will never meet," blocking their interrelationship.
Brilliant discoveries of modern psychologists suffer from one drawback which, however, does not diminish their importance. Modern psychoanalysts have had no idea what they describe phenomenon which is the property of Chinese philosophy for thousands of years. What now is termed 'gaming' in the system of values of ancient Chinese civilization were developed and implemented into daily life a thousand years before Common Era. It is good to emphasize here that stratagemical thinking and strategic behaviour, as an equivalent to the concept of 'gaming,' refers to as characteristics of Chinese civilization, namely, as achievements of its psychological and political thought. This implanted into public consciousness phenomenon, passing in centuries through the national boundaries, has been reflected in the political and social cultures of the most Asian countries.
Why only nowadays the traditional Chinese scientific viewpoints of man and his capabilities start to be combined with those of the European sciences? Some people say that it was a period, around the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), when scientific development in China was stopped deliberately to release the people from the weight of fast progress and, as a result, untimely end of mankind.
For centuries the Europeans have eagerly taken all that impressed and attracted to them in the East, but, generally speaking, all those things laid on the surface. The most significant secrets the Chinese stubbornly kept deeply within their multi-level cultural traditions, to disclose which there had to be a plenty of time and hard work of generations of Sinologists and experts in different fields of Orientalism.
Today the new means of communication condensed time; as a result, not only Sinologists but constellations of intellectuals from the Far East act as promoters of ethnic and cultural achievements of Asian civilizations. Slowly but surely the Westerners start to understand the style and distinctive features of political cultures of the Occidental societies. Contrary to what Rudyard Kipling said that 'the East is the East but the West is the West and they will never meet," both 'poles' are coming to meet each other all over the world. And what’s more, the East conducts an offensive on the West; it does this so skilfully that sometimes nobody in the West notices this trend.
Taking into consideration the social level, we witness that people in Europe and America are all the go about Zen Buddhism, yoga, daily life guidance and sex advices written in Vedas and Kama Sutra. Of course, without any saying, there is a steady interest to achievements of Chinese traditional cuisine, medicine, martial arts and ‘qi-gong’ systems spread out all over the world. This interest has resulted in a wide exercising of Chinese methods of physical and psychological training that led to creation of sport clubs and special literature issuing. Today the West strives to catch up with the East in the main aspect of life: the science of man. Obviously, this process is hardly might be called 'easy,' as long as in this field we still operate with different concepts. Thinking loudly, the so-called 'science of man' is nothing else but 'the way of Dao,' according to which an individual in the East follows one's fate predestined by the heavens. Therefore, to introduce proper order in this highly important field we need to take into consideration all the correlative systems worked out and developed in China throughout the ages.
