The author had tested over a dozen software (web-based) in a very diverse operating environment all over. Surprisingly, many international (meaning overseas/outside India) trading platforms work better than the other ones.
The author had 'micro-banking' (low cash) experience with over a dozen banking institutions.
The author is contemplating developing alternate indices, databases/charts, and AI-based algorithm for equity trade.
3. Financial aspects:

The author has hands-on trading experience.

Results are encouraging as one can pay the rent. Interest payment (with the minimal start-up) is still difficult.
The author intends to finance his research group('GunGooliBiotech) by e-broking (it is like Sir JC Bose financing his own research, though the author is starting with no-pay and minimal saving but high credit-rating) .
The idea is simple and do-able; but the success is not easy. The author knows of no academician who is employing such approaches for financing research.
