This is one legenary way to quit... A true story that garnered close to 30K reads on Quora.

Victoria was British and very proper.

She always wore a pristine tailored suit and her hair was always perfectly coiffed. She was the ultimate lady and the mother of a dear friend of mine.

Victoria worked for a very demanding boss who subjected her, and all his employees, to terrible verbal abuse. Not surprisingly, the companyhad a high staff turnover but Victoria was no quitter and she handled his abuse with grace and calm until the day he went too far, even for dear, sweet Victoria. I'm not sure exactly what happened but something triggered him and he began swearing at her about some small imagined infraction.

Ever the lady, Victoria picked up her handbag and with as much dignity as she could muster, made for the exit.

He blocked her way.
“Oi, where do ya think yer going?”
She turned to face him calmly and without as much as batting an eyelid, delivered this classic line:

“Well, I have a cut-off point and a f*ck-off point. Today, you passed my cut-off point and this, sir, is my f*ck off point!”

...and with this she turned and calmly walked away.

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
