I recently published my first ebook, a paranormal called AFTER. When deciding on a cover artist I was a little overwhelmed at the amount of people claiming to be one. I was quoted anywhere from $20 upwards of $100 or more. Going with the premise that you get what you pay for I chose the much higher end of the group. In return, I got a fabulous cover design and a true professional. My question, is what are people's experience with less expensive artists and their work? I did pay the $100 dollars but believe it was worth it since the cover is a huge factor in attracting attention to a book; even an ebook. What are everyone's thoughts?
