Will you ever forgive me? Will you bear with me until my concentration "flows" again and allows my expressions to "flow" with it, and towards you?

It seems like an eternity, since I have last interacted with you all here at AD.

The year 2005 ended with all the excitement of many beginnings, which danced through the open door of 2006 and do not seem to cease giving birth to yet more beginnings. There was our newly published book -  there is our newly published book, "Universes Beyond the Visible ~ Elements of Dream". Publishing a book is, in itself, a never ending, or, better still, an ever beginning event. Presentation will be followed by official release, then distribution will follow release, then promotion will entwine with distribution, then both will entwine with reviews, and reviews will follow the expansion of the former as they, in turn, expand both, in a circle which always begins again where it ends, but which goes on expanding.

Then, there are the seedlings of a newly published book. In this case, the seedlings of a book which is, essentially, one of photography, and which thus sprout as photos to be featured, first in exhibitions, then... who knows, maybe in other books, maybe illustrating other creations of a diverse kind, maybe as elements of decoration adorning someone's home, maybe... the possibilities are endless, once more.

Maybe each book, being a dream made visible when published, is always and simply yet one more "Element" of several, of endless other dreams, yet unpublished, yet "Beyond the Visible". Maybe...

Well, but this would be an endless, an ever beginning reflection, and what I wanted to say, dear AD authors and friends, is that this never ending, ever beginning cycle, which is made of much more than just the book and its seedlings, has been keeping this grateful admirer of yours extremely busy. So busy, that her concentration has been wavering, and she has been feeling terrible... for not being able to write, read, comment, thank you, express her pleasure for being part of this group of creative, supportive, encouraging and friendly people, except in... "spurts"!

Will you ever forgive me? Will you bear with me until my concentration "flows" again and allows my expressions to "flow" with it, and towards you? I so hope so, dear friends... I dare hoping that you will sense the sincerity of my admiration and my affection - those never waver, no matter the "flood" of obligations and the "ebbing" of time.

Thank you, and you, and you, and you, all of you. This sense glowing in my spirit that you are absolutely wonderful is, like a dream, a never ceasing one... for each moment it begins again, then expands, endlessly.

With the ever expanding warmth of a {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Your grateful Alexandra*

There is no need to ask for forgiveness, we are one here on the den and as one we do not hold anyone accountable for their lives, their hearts or their writing. As artists of the word we all know great work cannot be forced it must come from the inner self and flow out to the readers. You are our friend and that is all that matters.

From one who knows quite well the endless wonderments of the writing life, I graciously accept your brief pause, Alexandra. A published creation demands that we pay full attention to marketing details and other literary components of the craft. It all takes a mountain of time, unending and beginning and the continuous cycle. Why do we do it? Because we LOVE it. May you and Joseph never cease in giving us your OneLight Creations, Alexandra. Stay warm and stay in the Goddess's earthly embrace.

Your AD friend,
Sage

Imagine a surfer riding waves that do not progress horizontally but rather do so in incandescent spirals that take one in and out of different aspects of one's creative vision. The switch from production of the art to the packaging of the art requires its own level of applied creativity apart from communal interaction and is as necessary in these modern times as the act of writing itself. Which means two things: 1) no apologies are necessary; and 2) congratulations on the new book. May it reach readers and bring much joy to hearts and souls around the world. Peace and blessings--
