Moods
If we are human, not machines, we will be governed by moods now and again. Those that can control their moods entirely will be closer to the state of machines. Moods affect more the intellectual, the poet, or just one who has the tendency to be depressive. One who is drowned in physical labour will normally not be touched by moodiness. But there are the exceptional ones who moods haunt in spite of their manual activity. By and large the mood-affected subject is one who has the lack of confidence in his or herself which has driven them towards an inwardness in life.
Moodiness is basically the result of the feeling that one is left behind, not good enough, or a non-achiever who needs to sit and cry out the woes that keep tormenting. This feeling can often be traced back to a life in which other members in the family are more profitably engaged.
Such a subject, if in the grip of the urge to be artistic, and if on the path of creativity, will overcome the pangs of moodiness. However, sometimes instead of getting into an artistic slot of life if one finds an occupation which allows one to sit back and think of how others are doing better, in spite of their relative lack of sensitivity and competence, then the moods will soar and create hell for the subject and those that live in the vicinity of the moody person.
It is vitally necessary for the moody person to overcome this state by getting involved in an activity that gives positive satisfaction. Otherwise such a person is likely to make a hell out of heaven, and manufacture darkness in the midst of light.
