You may ask me what on-line writing communities do you use? Well let me tell you. I don't limit myself to just using one. I want to expand my horizons and so I use more than just http://storywrite.com.

Before I ever knew about http://storywrite.com, I was already using http://authorsden.com in fact. I only found out about http://storywrite.com about a year ago.

I knew about http://writing.com, but I guess I never got interested in it. I am using http://writing.com now in fact.

When http://storywrite.com, started its new format where I found out about http://jabbertale.com and http://writerscafe.org and http://writers-network.com

I was on another writing community, however it went off-line for good. I heard about http://openfiction.com as well.

I did try http://fanstory.com, but they are terrible about giving out constructive criticism and inspiration and they were also rude, lewd, and socially unacceptable members over there. They chase new comers away. I canceled out my $8.95 membership.

I also tried http://thenextgreatwriter.com but they are so much like http://fanstory.com that I canceled out my membership.

I have a life-time membership over at http://authorsdens.com but now they offer their membership either every three months, six months, or annually in different levels.

http://writing.com is similar. You need to check it out.

I am also over at http://booksie.com, http://wattspad.com, and http://writerscafe.org as well as http://writers-network.com.

That is where a publisher noticed my writing.

I do have a writer's profile over at http://fictionpress.com as well.

I use a number of them to get noticed.

I still say the best one for your money is http://writers-network.com, followed by http://storywrite.com, but it is worth your while to check out http://authorsden.com and http://writing.com as well. Their membership fees are reasonable.

As I am not into writing fantasy, horror, and Science Fiction I don't use the several on-line writing communities devoted just to them.
