I have been unemployed for over ten years and now I am finding I need to support myself and not my mother supporting me. So what do I do?  I Had an idea because so many times, I have seen when I enter Taco Bell that you can apply there or even online? Sounds easy enough?  After all, I think I know how to make a taco and a burrito. I know how to us ethe til and I  think I am friendly so why not?  I go online as simple that and  begin to fill out an application. I  amw ondering if my former superviser would mind if I use her for reference so I contact her. Problem is, I do it through Facebook and she is not online as often as I am. However with the the advice of friends, I list her anyway.  Then I get before a set of scenario questions like:

1."You see  a customer coming towards you and he seems angry about an order, what  do you?"  They give me some choices and I  think "Wow! How should I answer this?   I put myself in their shoes and try to guess the right answer.

After I submit my application, I wait. I figured if  the Lord wnats me to have it, they would hire me. Traditionally before there were computers, people would go into the establishment, fill out the application and if they have any training on Job hunting, come back  later and inquire about an interview. I didn't  do that because where do I go? There are two Taco Bells in Hanford and who kows which one is considering me.

Finding a Job is much like finding an agent or a oublisher who is interested in your work. Most publishers will not accept your manuscript unless you have an agent to respresent you. Otherwise you have a slim chance in having your story published. I know from experience that is true . The same goes for finding a job.   Most employers likes looking at a  resume or an application that looks promising. They are more likely to hire someone with experience than  someone  with hardly any. Than  there are employers who much rather hire someone they can train than someone who has been trained.  As I said, I am a new author and I am lucky enough that PublishAmerica was interested in my manuscript.  Now That I have a book published perhaps I am agent would be willing to take me on. I recently posted my first mystery story and now  ina month or so, I am hoping  that will be my foot in the door.
