People of the world, open your eyes. You have been fed lies all of your life by sources you thought you could trust. Governments do not have what is best for the people as a whole in mind, but rather what is best for the elite and upper class. This is a problem that exists globally; no matter what form of government your country supposedly adheres to it is nothing more than a plutocracy, ran by and made for the elite class. Does it seem odd to you that one percent of the population controls almost all the wealth? In America, we have at least a decent standard of living; however, in third world countries, the people are starving. These countries are generally very rich in natural resources but this wealth does not reach the people. I believe that when the people find out how they have been robbed and enslaved by the wealthy, there will be revolution on the streets. It is only a matter of time until this occurs on a global scale.
The media deserves a huge portion of the blame for the condition we are in today. They brainwash the people into thinking that the government is always justified in whatever they do. For example, the war in Iraq is one of the major reasons why America is going through its worse economic turmoil since the Great Depression. They claimed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, which they did not. They also claim to have made Iraq a better country, because of installing a “democracy”, when the reality is that Iraq is worse than ever. The people of both America and Iraq are now suffering while the politicians involved in the war are richer than ever.
The truth is very hard to swallow. We have to wake up and realize that we are all one people, regardless of how media and government try to divide us. Our brothers and sisters are starving all around the world, the very least we could do is be informed about the truth and not sit around, watching the world burn.
