"He told me that we couldn't move in together because he would feel guilty when he brought other girls home." -Robert Elder’s www.itwasoverwhen.com;
I usually take the controversial side of an issue to give you a perspective different than your own and this will be no different! If you’ve ever been in love, chances are you’ve had your heart broken before. But why do some people internalize it so much that they never truly get over it? Maybe the question is; do any of us truly get over it? I ask this question because if you speak to most women they still have a soft spot for certain people from their past, regardless of their current situation. Whoa! That’s for all the married men and good boyfriends out there. Yes, if your woman would really admit the truth; she’d have to tell you that there is someone out there that can still get to her emotionally… but don’t hold your breath. Don’t rack your brain, either, trying to figure it out why she carries emotional baggage from another relationship. The truth is; you’d never figure it out because she can’t.
Ladies, men either get over situations or not; it’s as simple as that. We care; then we really don’t anymore and that’s if he really loved you in the first place. Most of the time it was the sex or convenience of your presence that felt like love to him; I’m sorry but if you’ve ever read any of my articles before then you know how I get down. Brutal honesty is the only way we are going to make progress in relationships, but most people are unable to be honest with themselves so they can’t be honest with you; which brings me to the next point.
“I can’t remember.” Now, that’s a woman that has really gotten over a man. It’s been my experience that women need to forget to move on. That’s why most think that clubs, partying, and other men are the key to getting over a break-up. No; it’s the key to more mistakes which they usually make then can’t go back to the one they really love. Sounds crazy to me but like I said, it takes you to be honest with yourself to be honest with others. The only reason I know this about women is that I have benefited from it as I’m sure most men have. I’m going to keep it one hundred percent in this article! Hurt feelings, a late night, liquor, and bad girlfriend advice; plus a listening ear with six pack abs equals shaking legs and something you don’t want your pastor to know about! If I had a nickel every-time… nevermind (lol).
Alright, you can stop reading right now if you can’t handle it because it’s only going to get much hotter! Ladies, you’ve got to realize that players live off of what you don’t know or admit about yourself! Men are taught this by the first woman who breaks their heart! Whoa, I told you it would only get hotter. We believed the first girl that rocked our world sexually, when she said I’m a good girl and would never do certain things. Then we find out about that one dude or several she made a fool out of herself with. Ladies, hear me on this one! Choose carefully because there is no coming back! Jay-Z said it best in Song Cry, “When a good girl’s gone bad, she’s gone forever.” Only other women believe different, men will never take you serious after that. Trust me, nothing f#*k’s up a woman more than advice from other women about men! The player’s creed: It’s not what you do with me; it’s what you thought I’d never see!
All you have to do is rent the movie Casino and watch Robert Deniro’s wife, Ginger! Boy, I’ve sure met some Gingers in my day and know that every woman has a little bit of Ginger in her. That’s what most women hide or deny and never get better. You have to fight your inner Ginger to stay a good girl; it’s the thing in women pimps tap into. Chances are you had a few that did and that’s why you’ve been getting hurt so much. If you’re saying no right now… it’s like I said, men benefit from that lack of self knowledge. No one can hurt you without your permission; remember that!
In conclusion, let me put myself on the chopping block. Women from my past that I chose not to go further with usually fell into one of several categories. See if any of these sound familiar: 1) The pre-planner who planned everything about her life, including the man… then stuck me in the slot. Her plans were broken; it just felt like her heart. 2) The second time virgin. This one makes me laugh, she put too much of herself into a loser and now she wants to hold out on the sex to be sure about you. That never works; it only makes men mad because we feel that we are paying for your mistake with another man so we just wait, get it, then drop you cold. 3) The reformed hoe; who basically does what most men do. Bang as much as they want for a period of time then decide later in life that they are ready to settle down. I’m sorry but this doesn’t work on so many levels that I can’t even count them. I will offer you this though, other men see the man that marries the reformed hoe as a huge sucker because he had to commit to get what they got for free! No ladies, you being in love with me but not them don’t work! lol. 4) Now, I have to admit this chick almost got me. The PARTY girl who doesn’t know… that the more men you are “friends” with the bigger hoe you’re perceived to be. Let me add to that; all... I mean all, of those dudes a’int just your friend. You've smashed a few and men know it because we’ve been that guy! You screwed a few of them and now they are just hanging around until a weak moment! No dice baby, we’ll have fun with you but would never take on the responsibility of a relationship because we know you’re lying by omission! One girl had the nerve enough to say, “A need to know basis!” What she didn’t know is that I automatically put her in the hoe pile when I heard her say that. No matter how much I liked her, I knew that I would never take her one hundred percent. So men stay while the sex is good and try not to get caught up more than you.
As a matter of fact, the party girl and the others only prove how good your good girl really is and trust me ladies… every man has his good girl! You know her, she’s the one you call dumb but he marries when he gets the NBA contract, record deal, doctorate degree, or any measure of success. She’s his good girl because she endured… and that’s in the bible so check it out! It doesn’t say endure with Grey Goose or other dudes or clubs or any sort of payback buffer that usually doesn’t work. In short, you don’t hate men; you hate that things didn’t go your way… and that’s selfish. The Baltimore lounge scene is filled with these women. I say it with love. –DF/x
