JESUS CHRIST had experienced trials after trials in His life here on earth. He experienced the three major T's: Tempted, Tested and Tried. He stayed in the wilderness for 40 days and passed each of His tests. He never took His eyes off GOD the Father. He understood His purpose and the reason to experience such great pain. He was not self-absorbed as the Son of GOD. He remained humbled and faithful without mistreating others or slandering their names. He handled the power of GOD in Him with great respect, never once misusing it to manipulate others. He was not about to serve any false gods that were carved by man. He knew who He was and whose He was in GOD.
He was certain without a shadow of a doubt that His provision came from GOD alone and not man. He stayed true to the cause and purpose that was mandated over His life by God.
On the other hand, the Israelites did not survive their wilderness experience, because they refused to allow God to humble, test and prove the nature of their hearts. They stayed in the wilderness for 40 years and ended up with nothing. JESUS CHRIST on the other hand stayed in the wilderness for 40 days and conquered death and life. He was able to possess everything that was His. No devil in hell could touch Jesus Christ! We all have to get right with GOD first before we can possess the promise land and receive our blessings.
Many people today are still stuck in the wilderness, because they have not allowed GOD to humble them. This is not the time to be stagnated in your walk with GOD. Today, many people miss reaching their fullest potential in GOD, because of the spirit of pride inside of them. They find themselves failing the test and not withstanding the adverse situations in their lives.
Trials and tribulations will come, but you have to allow the LORD to work on you to survive the wilderness and not die like the Israelites wondering where the promise land was. In the midst of our adversities, the LORD will discipline us no matter how severe the pain may be upon us.
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? (Hebrews 12:4-7).
Your blessings are right there, but in order for you to receive it; you have to endure several adversities in your life to obtain it. Miracles, Signs and Wonders followed JESUS CHRIST when He came out of the wilderness and the Holy Spirit was over Him. When we come out of our wilderness experiences, blessings upon blessings should follow us. People should be able to see the manifestation of the glory of GOD upon our lives. No devil in hell can touch us!
In the midst of your suffering, GOD is developing your character, which will mature as you walk in Christ. Each wilderness experiences GOD placed me in, prepared me for this wonderful journey I am now on with Him. He taught me that in the midst of my wilderness experience, I must never lose hope in Him, because He will never ever disappoint me.
You may feel like you are alone during your wilderness experience and no one can possibly understand what you are going through. However, you are never alone, because the Spirit of GOD is always there guiding you through the journey. GOD will ensure that no one receives the glory over your life, because all honor and glory goes unto Him and Him alone.
I encourage you to place your hands in the LORD's hands and walk faithfully with Him as He takes you through your wilderness experience. Your reward shall be waiting on you when you come out of it. You must endure the hardship to receive the blessings what awaits you.
