THRILLING GHOST STORY WILL HAVE READERS BELIEVING IN THE PARANORMAL
by kevin cowan
Rated "PG" by the Author.

When it comes to believing in ghosts, Americans are split pretty evenly. About 45% of the population believe in ghosts, or that the spirits of dead people can come back in certain places and situations. Regardless of where you fall on the issue, the haunting book Kinsley Circle by Kevin Cowan will chill you right to your core and make you truly question if the spirits of the dead walk among us.

Set on a dead end cul-de-sac named Kinsley Circle in the small rural town of Edam, Virginia, the book focuses on a wrong that was done over 100 years ago, which has come back to haunt the current inhabitants of the land. The cul-de-sac is inhabited by only three homes occupied by three couples: George and Alice Kinsley live in the oldest home, Chief of Police Paul Thompson, his wife, and two children live in another and attorney Ellen Reinhart and her psychologist husband psychologist David reside in the third.

Alice's sudden death in her sleep propels George into a self-imposed state of isolation and sleeplessness; but when he begins claiming to hear wolves and dogs howling in the woods in the wee hours of the night, a tremendous change in his personality takes place, almost as if he has become possessed. The neighbors are deeply concerned, and anxious to get George committed for therapy – but what if this is not a problem that psychiatry can solve? Circumstances go from bad to worse as whatever has changed George is now causing strife and disruption among the remaining neighbors.

The residents of Kinsley Circle consider themselves skeptics: one is a career law-enforcement official, another a trained Ph.D. psychologist. Both believe in the scientific approach. But when they begin to hear strange noises for hours, every night, at the exact same time, and the auditory "hallucinations" soon are accompanied by visual "hallucinations," something has to be done – even if it means admitting that ghosts really do exist.

For skeptics and believers alike, Kinsley Circle provides a though-provoking and compelling story that readers will have a hard time leaving alone.

Ronald,
Thank you for your reply. The article is a press release done by my P.R. company, not an article. The book is obviously not for you. Although if you read the book it was written for skeptic's like yourself. It clearly states in the novel that the protagonist and antagonist alike are non believers, but they are confronted with the confrontational paranormal first hand and become believers. The ending of the story will give you a reason to believe in the possibility that spirits exist.

I guess Garry is a follower, but this is no place to be selling your book disguised as an article. I would welcome any articles you might write on subjects other than selling your book.

How about an article on whether ghosts exist? I'm not much of a “believer” in anything but the facts. So I won't read it. Eyewitness accounts are becoming less and less reliable even though they've been used to convict innocent people almost forever. I have seen the hokey pseudoscience behind television shows in so-called “haunted” houses and it is just as bad as Nessie and Bigfoot sightings.

Sounds like a very fascinating story indeed. I myself being a believer in the spirit realm, having seen ghost, on several occasions, including animal spirits as well. Cat spirits seem to be well documented, I have seen many of these type apparations, during my life time. I have had the pleasure of experiancing Astral travel in my early twenty's. So for someone like me Kevin your book sounds very interesting indeed.
