I read the stories of the lives of great Minnesota authors like F. Scott Fitzgerald and I surprised myself by becoming a great Minnesota author. This is a birthing experience.
A friendship or relationship you are proud of is my friendship with David Noble who is also a Fitzgerald scholar. This is a circle of writing life friendship.
What is a great good deed you did? I excavated the historical amnesia recovery of the lives of my relatives in the Fitzgerald intentional community.
Who provides you comfort in your life? The writers like Fitzgerald provide me my life's comforts and teachers like C. Wagner Artabilty who helped prep this exercise give me sweet comfort.
Who influenced who you are in a positive way? F. Scott Fitzgerald influenced me to take up the writer's craft. Selby and Western reflect the arc connection in St. Paul between Fitzgerald and Shakespeare. They connect in the Bardos of Birth, Death, Rebirth, and the Interim period.
