Davis is an Irish name as in Angela Davis! Her boy friend got life in prison for a minor offense.

Irish Law! Dugan says!

Duggan  says the LAW is an ASS. This is a famous Irish legal quote. My advice is don't get your nuts or your ass in a wringer in the South. A Southern judge could easily put life and a day in your record for starters. This happened to Angela Davis' boyfriend. He got a year and a day. A fight broke out in his prison. He was indicted for being part of a brawl. He sentence went to life with no possibility for parole.
