The Constitution states their shall be NO religious litmus test for public office.  The Constitution does NOT delineate polical parties. The word DFL is not in the American Constitution. The Republican Party is not mentioned in the Constitution. 

There  are a number of private schools and colleges in the state of Minnesota. These schools have different charters or Constitutions. 

The word quota is NOT in the Constitution.

At a public university of a donor wants to place monies up for a professorship or Department. They can do this. They can for example fund a professorship in Armenian Studies. However, the person putting up the monies for a professorship in Armenian Studies CANNOT pick the professor for the Armenian Studies. Top professors in the Armenian and Asian studies fields pick the professor.

in my opinion Hamline University is no longer a Christian University or a Methodist University. Revoke an revise its charter.
