George Steinbrenner made a Davis Island call for ambulance help. It proved fatal.

George Steinbrenner dead at the hands of an ambulance driver.

George Steinbrenner, Yankee owner, Davis Island resident had a heart attack . 4:04 am. The ambulance driver picked him up at 4:08am and brought him to St Joseph hospital which is 20 minutes away. Tampa General is most adjacent to his home. The ambulance driver cost a George Steinbrenner his life by an unnecessary ambulance run
