The audience response level in the Kamila Harris/Mike Pence debate fell way below the radar! There was no framing of an argument. The audience response level failed to come up to the level of any of Piaget’s cognitive stages pre-operational, concrete operational and operational stages. At best the audience responses in the debate fell in the sensory motor stage.
