Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.

In order for us to accomplish any task or even to survive from one day to the next, we must have patience.  Without patience, we find ourselves angry alot; frustrated alot; in trouble alot.

Without patience, we seek to do things our way; we don’t wait on God; we want what we want, right then, not later.  You don’t have to have everything going your way to have a good day.  You don’t have to have every single answer that you seek to have a great day or good life, patience and time will reveal all things by the grace and mercy of God.  

When we choose to wait on the Lord, He promises that we will be blessed for doing so.

We will gain strength.  We will mount up with wings as eagles.  We will run and we will not be weary; we will walk and we will not faint.  We will have the blessings of God and the favor of God when we choose to wait on God.  Waiting teaches us patience.  Patience teaches us to trust both God and ourselves. It is God’s will that we trust Him; that we wait on Him; that we believe in Him.

Waiting on God has so many rewards.  We are able to build a relationship with God that is based on trust and truth; faith and love.  When we are patient, we show God that we trust His will and His way of doing things.  Yes, it does take time to develop patience but, in due time, everything works out and all good things come to those who wait.

Psalm 37:7-9

Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land.

As this new day presents itself, trust God to help you make the most of every moment.  Trust God to do just what He has promised to do for you and me, time and time again, see us through.  Have great expectations for the abundance of goodness that shall come to you this day.  Do not be anxious for anything; instead, wait on the Lord and be of good courage.  Remember no matter what, “What God has for you is for you period.”  Believe in God for the great things of God.  I encourage each and everyone of you to be patient in the Lord today.  Wait on Him to lead you; to guide you; to keep you and to take you further than you have ever been.  This is the day that the Lord has made, I will be glad and rejoice in it and I encourage you to do the same.  Hump day was here and now it is gone but, the goodness and mercy of the Lord remains forever.  Trust God to do great things for you this day.  Keep a positive attitude, in God there are no limits.

Father, we thank you in advance for greater patience each day, this day.  Lord, please lead us through this day with Your patience and Your peace.  Help us to seek Your face and Your will this day.  Help us to love on others as You love on us.  We thank You for being God all by yourself.  We thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to die on the cross so that we might have life.  Go before us this day and everyday thereafter.  Bless us all and everyone whom we love, strangers, enemies and friends alike.  Have your way, we love You Lord, in Jesus Mighty Name we pray, Amen.
