The creation of Our Universal Family.

There are several theories about the manner of how the Creator created our universal family. Our Creator is a supernatural being so the creation of our universal family was certainly a supernatural spiritual experience.

Here are some of the different theories of how our universal family came into existence. The major ones are creationism and Darwinism. Then there is also the combination of creationism and Darwinism known as evolutionary creationism. Another area to be explored is the area of Cosmology, which includes physical and religious cosmology.

The theory of creationism comes from the Christian-Judaic Bible. The first chapter in the Old Testament, written by Moses, is the Book of Genesis. According to this chapter, God created the Universe, Humanity, and all other life on planet Earth. Creationism is a supernatural act by a spiritual God. According to the Book of Genesis, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

Over the next six days God created the heaven and the earth and stars, light, animals, and then human beings. Creation is a supernatural experience of God, where the universe and it’s life came into existence from nothing.

The other major theory is evolution of what is commonly termed as Darwinism, named after Charles Darwin. In 1868 Charles Darwin wrote the book “On the Origin of Species,” that includes concepts of biological evolution. The basic premise is that life was created from molecular cells and then evolved into small microorganisms and then eventually into animals like apes and then into the human species. This theory promotes natural biological evolution instead of spiritual creation. The creation-evolution controversy developed. Over time, the “anti-evolutionists” became common.

Evolutionary Creationism combines creationism and evolution and is a concept that asserts that classical religious teachings about God are compatible with the modern scientific understanding about biological evolution. In short religious evolutionists believe that there is a God, and that God is the creator of the material universe and (by consequence) all life within, and that biological evolution is simply a natural process within that creation. Evolution, according to this view, is simply a tool that God employed to develop human life.

According to the American Scientific Affiliation:
A theory of Theistic Evolution (TE)- also called Evolutionary Creation- proposes that God’s method of creation was to cleverly design a universe in which everything would naturally evolve. Usually the “evolution” in “theistic evolution” means total evolution. Total Evolution- Astronomical Evolution (to form galaxies,, solar systems, etc.) and Geological Evolution (to form the earth’s geology) plus Chemical Evolution (to form the first life) and Biological Evolution (for the development of life).

Another interesting area to be explored is that of Cosmology. Cosmology is the study of the origins and eventual fate of the universe. There are two different major areas of cosmology which are physical cosmology and religious cosmology.

According to the Wikipedia encyclopedia, physical cosmology is studied by scientists, such as, astronomers, theoretical physicists, academic philosophers, metaphysicians, philosophers of physics, and philosophers of space and time. Modern cosmology is dominated by the Big Bang theory, which attempts to bring together observational astronomy and particle physics. Religious cosmology (or mythological cosmology) is a body of beliefs based on the historical, mythological, religious, and esoteric literature and traditions of creation and eschatology.

Our universe was created 13.75 billion years ago and the age of Mother Earth is 4.54 billion years old. We have our ancient civilizations such as the Toltecs, Mayans, and the Egyptians. The pyramids in Central America and in Egypt were built around 2500 B.C.

Even though it might still be a mystery of how our universe and our human family was created, we have grown to present day and we keep growing. We must all get along even though we have racial, ethnic, language, or cultural differences. We were created for the purpose of unity, love, peace, and harmony. Our Creator is a creator of love.

The definition of the word create is to originate; to bring into being from nothing; to cause to exist. Ever since the beginning of time, there has been a creative process taking place within our universe. The planets were created and then life forms were created to live on some planets as a result of a supernatural creative source. The life forms then created religions in order to understand their spiritual creator. Next complicated social and political societies were created in order for all the life forms to live peacefully. We are all citizens of Mother Earth and the Universe and we were all created equal.

Life today is a result of a creative process even though there are different theories and beliefs about how our universal family was created. We are all creative spiritual beings and we need to discover the creativity that is inside all of us. It is in that creative center source where all our skills and talents are stored. Through the process of spiritual and personal growth, we can discover our creativity and then express it in a positive manner for our own personal good and for the good of our universal family.
