Child Prodigy Alma Deutscher wrote her first Opera when she was eight years old! The director of the Salzburg State Theatre, Carl Philip von Maldeghem, announced in January that a new opera has been commissioned from Alma Deutscher. The working title is "The Emperor's New Waltz". The premiere is planned for 2022.

While she is compared to Mozart; Alma says she wants to be known as "Alma" whose amazing opera "Cinderella" written when she was 10 years is at this moment being heard around the world. It is one of Alma Deutschers many compositions which are quickly etching her name in eternity as a great composer.
