While attending an event where Dr. Elisabeth Kubler Ross, best-selling Author of "Death and Dying" and the founder of Hospices in America, was the speaker, she spoke about her heart attack.
Dr. Ross said as she laid in the hospital bed, the nurses were so mean to her she decided to leave. She took the IV's out of her veins and crawled on her hands and knees out the front door of the hospital, called a taxi and went home.
Elisabeth Kubler Ross told the audience that Love is the only thing that heals and the nurses attitude towards her was far from loving. Love, she continued, is the most Powerful Force on Earth.

Dr. Ross is in the
National Women's Hall of Fame, and was one of TIME Magazines "Top Thinkers of the 20th Century", As Well as Woman of the Year in 1977, and New York Library Book of the Century
