"As if Dolly Parton did not have enough attributes on her resume, the singer, songwriter, philanthropist, and COVID-19 vaccine-funder is about to add "mystery writer" to her many titles. Parton is currently co-writing a novel alongside prolific mystery tycoon, James Patterson. The thriller, entitled Run, Rose, Run, is slated to be published on March 7, 2022.

Parton is also crafting an eponymous album, containing 12 original songs inspired by the book, to be released alongside the text. The 10-time Grammy-winner's first novel focuses on a young singer-songwriter "on the run" in Nashville. Indeed, the plot seems to be perfectly Partonian!"
