Zombie Actors (Including Me!) in Full MakeUp Advertising a Film!
"Wow!!! I love Acting in Films!"

I love being an extra in the movies!! My favorite role was playing the Mother of a Zombie who created her zombie baby in a petri dish. He ate brains for breakfast
and had no friends!!
We shot the film on the campus of Stanford University in Palo Alto. I had the lead role instead of being an extra and it was absolute joy!
Another role I was the lead in was with my 'actor husband'. We were camping and getting ready to go to sleep when suddenly "Big Foot" appeared outside our tent, standing on his hind legs and roaring loudly!!
Our role was to appear to be terrified! Big Foots Acting was so good, we were!
And I played a zombie along with several other actors. We were advertising an upcoming film.
Arriving at 3:00 AM to have our faces made up to look like zombies was an intense experience. With our Zombie makeup on, we were frightening each other! Our role was to walk around the downtown area in costume and makeup an scare as many people as possible!!
When we went back to the hotel the makeup people had gone home for the day! Yikes!! We all tried to get the zombie makeup off but couldn't. So off we went to the subway. Talk about stares! Mouths fell open with lots of giggles rippling through the cars.
One of my favorite roles was playing a ghost of a woman whose husband had been murdered.. The woman had convinced herself he had died of a heart attack as the truth was to much for her to accept.
Making that movie was a challenge and I learned so much from it.
I've made too many movies and commercials to share every one so this will be my final little story.
I landed a job to do a commercial. The producer
gave me a ride to the shoot location. While there I found out the part of the commercial I starred in was scheduled to be on a major morning news show. Since I had no agent I was unprotected and could not demand a much larger salary plus residuals.
Driving me home the producer confessed he did not offer the actors much money because he was being evicted from his apartment and needed the money to pay his back rent!!
Getting paid well to share my creativity with the world is a gift and acting in films and commercials is the
most fun I have ever had in my life. And I plan on doing many many more!!!!
The Shows will go on an I Wanna Wanna an Wanna 'Sum' more be in as many of them as possible!!
That does sound like a lot of fun even if you didn't make very much money. The closest I ever got to the movies was one night when I was at a Bay Area singles club gambling night at the Fairmont Hotel, I came out to find across the street at the Mark Hopkins they were filming a movie called Daddy Goes a Hunting with a birdcage falling from a very high window.
When I was teaching at Atlanta University, I had a student assistant who had a girlfriend was an actress. She was very beautiful and had a part in the movie, The Talented 10th, made on the Atlanta University grounds by students that receive some acclaim. Later my assistant married her. Later still, I saw her in a movie when she had a contract with one of the studios to do television movies. In this movie, when a waiter came around with drinks at a male dancing club for girls, she was among the girls in the audience and called out to him, "You should be a dancer!" And that was her only line and appearance.
