Two new guinea pig rescues.

I hope all is well. It was quite an eventful day yesterday, most of which I can't really talk about as it's personal stuff that would require a lot of explanation for context. It was a day full of lots of emotions, let's just put it at that.

Despite all that, I managed to read over chapter one of book two one last time before I posted it yesterday. Also, we picked up our two newest rescued guinea pigs as seen in the image.

They were both rescued by a friend of ours whom also runs a private sanctuary. They came from an unethical breeder, and so they get to live for more than just a few years of making babies, although, I'm sure that was fun.

So far, Marley has been rumbling at every piggie neighboring him. We were told that they were bonded, but Crash seems to be extra afraid, and was sounding the wheek alarm when Marley tried visiting him in the same house. This particular wheek sounds just like an alarm, and it's not specific to certain guinea pigs. I've heard several of them do it with the same cadence and everything.

It turns out that Crash is what's known as a Lunkarya, and they are a particularly fearful breed. Marley, on the other hand, is a Sheba, which is a mix of Abyssinian and Peruvian, and although he is still afraid of us, he is more than ready to hump every piggie he sees.
